PUBLIC PROJECTS

As a firm believer in the power of art to transform by empowering those who do it and inspiring those who view it, I have collaborated with many different groups to bring art to everyday life. The following is a list of projects including commissioned public works, artist in residence projects and grants. 2008- New View: The Many Faces of the St. Johns River artist in residence Douglas Anderson School of the Visual Arts, Jacksonville,FL
2006- Mary Virginia Terry Cancer Center, St. Vincents Hospital Jacksonville, FL- created new works for lobby and patient treatment rooms
2005- Circ de Vie- mixed media installation for the Mandarin Branch Library, Jacksonville Art in Public Places
1995- Furniture Project- Artist in Residence Jan Hus Presbyterian Church NY,NY worked with homeless men and women to restore and decorate furniture
1991- Handshake Puppet Project- Jacksonville Coalition for the Visual Arts-worked with inner city youth on a collaborative traveling puppet project focusing on conflict resolution
1989- Nest 89- artist in residence YWCA created collaborative public sculpture to raise awareness of homeless women and children
